That first time, we drove our truck and camped. The second time we took our touring motorcycle and Pleasant Valley was our first destination on a 3-day loop around Colorado. We just had to try out these little cottages. We weren't disappointed. They are very rustic with knotty pine walls. Some have fireplaces and will sleep 4-6 people. They have cute little kitchenettes with coffee makers, microwaves, and all the kitchen utensils needed to cook your own meals. There is a convenience store where you can purchase groceries, the most wonderful fresh baked pies and cinnamon rolls, ice cream, and souvenirs of all kinds. A laundry, showers (for campers), gas, ice, LP Gas, fishing tackle, hunting and fishing licenses are also available on site. This is a great family camp that is clean and quiet. The owners and employees are very helpful and friendly. Need to find out exactly where Pleasant Valley is? Click on the map icon below.
