Mexican Vacations

"Mexican vacations can provide activities that best suit your style. A land of sunny beaches, archaeological zones, nature and adventure trails, luxury spa resorts, and magnificent golf courses await you. "

Beach in Puerto Vallarta Long stretches of white, sandy beaches greeted us as we walked out of the hotel. Ahh, Mexico beaches. This sure could pass for the French Riviera! We found two comfy beach loungers with grass umbrellas, and settled in for a relaxing afternoon.

Mexican nightlife Of course, there are more than beaches here. What kind of Mexican vacation are you looking for? Mexico offers everything from ancient Meso-American ruins to attractive beach resorts. Lively city nightlife is readily available with top entertainers, international shows, jazz groups, and Mexican music. Acapulco, known as the ‘the city that never sleeps’, is filled with bars and discos.

Mexican Cuisine There are local and international cuisines for every taste. Coffee aficionados will be impressed with the coffee grown in Mexico. Stop by a coffee shop and sip a cup while you take in the bright and vibrant activities on the street.

Although Mexico is considered a year-round destination, there are two tourist seasons. The high season starts from December 15 through Easter, and the low season is the rest of the year. Late spring, summer, and fall are the best times to find bargains. To get away from crowds, avoid the peak times of mid-summer and December when crowds flock to Mexico.

There are many all-inclusive packages, which makes sense on a tight budget. Meals, drinks, and, sometimes tips and some activities, are included in the room rate. Typically, you can find all-inclusive Mexican vacations for a fraction of the cost of a visit to Hawaii or Tahiti.

Is sun and fun on your mind? Cozumel, Cancun, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, and Acapulco are incredible choices for a Mexico getaway. Cozumel and Cancun are located on the eastern tip of Mexico. On the western side are Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, and Acapulco. They are slightly higher in price, and the scenery is different, but the older buildings meld seamlessly into the scenery creating stunning visuals along side gorgeous beaches.

If you’re more adventurous, be sure and plan a visit to the more remote sections of Mexico. The Mayan city of Ti’ho is beneath the “newer” city of Merida, but its architecture resembles that of the Mayan empire. Many of the residents are of Mayan ancestry. They speak the language, lean towards Mayan cuisine, and dress in Mayan style clothing. Merida is an excellent Mexico vacation choice for history lovers.

If you’re planning a Mexican vacation, a passport is necessary. Tourists must ensure that they have a valid passport before leaving on their vacation. Beyond that restriction, tourists are open to visit any Mexican area.

Puerto Vallarta - charming, warm and cultured.
Tired of the crowds and singles only in Cancun? Visit family-friendly and beautiful Puerto Vallarta instead.
